First Fridays in Swarthmore

Experience Swarthmore Every First  Friday of the Month (note exceptions)

5:00 – 8:00 pm (check each month for new listings)

On the First Friday of every month, businesses in the town center of Swarthmore stay open late to present FREE events that include culinary tastings, textiles and fine crafts, healing and performing arts, specials on food or store items, exhibits or other interactive demonstrations or presentations related to various businesses specialties.  Anywhere from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, shops, restaurants, stores and more will host local musicians and events where families and friends can stroll through the charming streets of Swarthmore and enjoy an evening on the town.

First Fridays creates opportunities for local businesses to open their doors and create programs of interest and events that build community and to feature the talents of local artists and musicians in the area.

First Fridays is a special way to spend quality time with the whole family. It’s great for a date night, or for getting together with friends without having to go very far.  Join us for an evening of FUN, FOOD, MUSIC and more right here in downtown Swarthmore every First Friday.
